Robert Half Payment Poster & Research Specialists in Costa Mesa, California
Description We are looking for a Payment Poster & Research Specialist to join our team in Costa Mesa, California. This role involves posting and reconciling electronic and manual insurance payments, patient payments, and working closely with both internal and external partners. This is a short-term contract opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications.
• Maintain precise records of customer credit.
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external business partners for effective service delivery.
• Manage daily posting logs and submit them for reconciliation.
• Conduct detailed payment posting research to identify errors and correct them.
• Contact payors for additional documentation to accurately identify patient accounts.
• Work closely with vendors to resolve missing posting files or posting file errors.
• Participate actively in training opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
• Contribute to problem-solving and process improvement initiatives within the team.
• Ensure quality assurance and productivity standards are met.
• Utilize various patient account systems effectively.
• Supervise and review email requests from staff, management, and other departments for payment posting research.
• Maintain logs and reports for Accounting.
• Work with minimal supervision and handle other duties as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office Suites
• Demonstrated ability in Documentation and Reporting
• Experience with Payment Processing and Cash Activity
• Familiarity with Medical Coverage, Benefit Functions, and Billing processes
• Ability to conduct Research and Review tasks
• Experience in Supervising teams and implementing Process Improvement initiatives
• Knowledge of Collection Processes, Reconciliations, and dealing with Vendors
• Capability to maintain and manage Websites and Facility operations
• Understanding of Clinical Trial Operations and Consumer Electronics industry
• Skills in maintaining Logs and Quality Assurance processes
• Experience with Funds management and handling
• Training skills in relevant areas.
