::: {title=""} ::: {contenteditable="false"} The Cardiac Rehab Tech, assists patients with performing cardiac rehabilitation functions to facilitate patient cardiac fitness. Participates in process of assisting the patient with cardiac risk factor reduction.
Essential Job Functions:
- Maintains current knowledge/certification/licensure. Pursues professional growth and development.
- Under the direction or the medical director and the DNS, assists in determining progression of exercise program.
- Anticipates need for repair of equipment and orders maintenance parts
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
- Assists with conducting exercise therapy session in a safe professional manner
- Follows hospital exposure control plans/blood borne and airborne pathogens
- Maintains confidentiality of all hospital and patient information at all times. Follows HIPAA regulations and policies.
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function.
- Communicate with patients, families and co-workers in person, in writing and on telephone. ::: :::
Requirements
::: {title=""} ::: {contenteditable="false"} Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of heart rate rhythms.
- Knowledge of blood pressure.
- Previous experience in a related medical field is preferred.
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift or move up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to maintain a standing and/or sitting position.
- Must be able to reach arms above or below shoulder height.
- On feet a minimum of 8-10 hours, depending on length of shift.
- Frequent stooping, bending, reaching, lifting and pushing heavy equipment.
- Moving, transferring, and positioning of patients with and/or without assistance.
- Read charts, dials, equipment settings, literature and other printed and handwritten materials.
- Work with equipment and manipulate equipment settings, computer keyboard, etc.
- Marys and Clearwater Health operate 24 hours per day each day of the year; operational needs of departments may require that you be available to work all shifts, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the patients.
- Marys and Clearwater Health Clinic locations have operation hours based on locations and patient needs therefore availability to work all clinic shifts, weekends and holidays as appropriate for location will be expected and required.
- Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment.
