This individual will be responsible for planning and improving daily operations including employee safety, product quality, production efficiency, preventative maintenance, and regulatory compliance.ResponsibilitiesEstimate material and worker requirements to complete jobs including leading, training, and scheduling employeesMaking improvements to product quality, production efficiency, and safe work practicesTroubleshoot and determine appropriate repairs, replace defective parts as needed and maintain machinery and mechanical equipmentExamine and inspect work progress and equipment to verify safety and ensure that specifications are metOversee the compliance of QC program for all products manufacturedMaintain open lines of communication between team members, and managementProvide suggested methods and reports to Manager to optimize labor and equipment usageOther responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as neededRequirementsMinimum high school diploma or equivalentExperience in the manufacturing of concrete pipe/precast specifically Hawkeye and drycast manufacturing preferred2 or more years of supervisory experience in a fast-paced construction/heavy industrial or manufacturing environmentAbility to manage priorities and workflowAbility to perform basic mathematical skills such as calculating percentages and volumesAbility to read blueprint/AutoCAD drawingsProficient in Microsoft OfficeAbility to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the dayWhat CRH Offers YouHighly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsA diverse and inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotionAbout CRHCRH has a long and proud heritage.
