Aerotek Welder in Courtland, Minnesota

Description:

Set Up and Operation of a MIG welder to manufacture a variety of products. This is a job shop so the projects are constantly changing; however, they do have repeat business so there is batch welding and production welding available. Will need to be comfortable with blue prints and with them being a job shop, some of the prints do have welding symbols on them. Will follow work orders and blue prints, MIG weld together the product, quality check and grind welds throughout the process, and keep good open communication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1 year of prior MIG welding experience is required.

  • Must be able to read blue prints and interpret welding symbols

  • Must be able to read and use a tape measure

  • Must be able to twist, bend, crouch, and stay on your feet for the duration of the shift
