Adecco US, Inc. Inventory Handler in Coventry, Rhode Island
Key Responsibilities :
Receive and inspect incoming inventory to ensure quality and accuracy.
Organize and store inventory in designated locations according to company procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of stock levels using inventory management systems (e.g., barcode scanners, inventory software).
Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure stock levels match recorded data.
Assist in the management of inventory flow and assist with reordering supplies when necessary.
Follow safety protocols and proper handling procedures for materials, including hazardous or sensitive goods.
Coordinate with other departments) to ensure timely and efficient stock handling.
Maintain a clean and organized inventory area to facilitate efficient access and reduce risk of accidents.
Perform any additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or inventory manager.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or certifications in inventory management is a plus.
Previous experience in inventory handling, warehouse operations, or logistics is preferred.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to lift heavy items and operate forklifts or other equipment (if applicable).
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
*Must have Steel Toe/safety shoes
Pay Details: $17.00 per hour
