Holtec Decommissioning International (HDI) is currently seeking a Leadership Effectiveness Manager to join the Palisades Nuclear Plant team in Covert, MI.

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Director of Regulatory & Site Strategies, The Leadership Effectiveness Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining an overall organizational effectiveness strategy. They are responsible for improving management, leadership, and organizational design and effectiveness, enabling the broader team to meet and exceed its goals and objectives. Responsibilities include identifying and analyzing needs, designing and implementing solutions, and monitoring for effectiveness.

JOB DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Identifying and analyzing leadership development needs, designing and implementing solutions with applicable resources, and assuring solutions are working going forward.

  • Coaching managers on a variety of management and change management topics for both current concerns and issues and future organizational growth and effectiveness.

  • Manages relationships across the company, partnering with leaders and HR to support individual department and organizational effectiveness needs to achieve desired business results.

  • Develop short- and long-term operational strategies designed to bring cohesiveness to internal and external processes; perform overall needs-analysis and assessment to position Palisades for organizational excellence.

  • Identify, track, and analyze metrics to measure organizational design and effectiveness related issues, prospectively and retrospectively, and design and implement solutions; ensure solutions meet the needs of the Palisades organization and are aligned with the strategic goals and objectives on an ongoing basis; refine as needed.

  • Provide consultation to the Leadership Team on programs to support organizational change, leadership development and organizational effectiveness.

  • Drive initiatives in the Leadership Team and organizationally that contribute to long-term organizational excellence.

  • Contribute to short- and long-term organizational planning and strategy as a member of the Leadership Team.

  • Communicate and represent the Palisades culture and value, working to build and institute consistent opportunities and vehicles to the entire team to embody and experience the culture through events, team building, retreats, etc.

  • Facilitate the use of latest tools, technologies, and techniques in support of the Palisades needs and strategic plan.

  • Ensure technical learning solutions are aligned to current site strategy and support the changing needs of Palisades and address new initiatives for the site.

  • Draw on comprehensive technical knowledge and excellent consulting skills to advise internal and external customers in organizational effectiveness area.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum experience required of the position :

  • 5 years commercial nuclear industry leadership experience (2nd level leader and above), or organizational development bachelor’s degree with 10 years practical application.

  • Preferred: 10 years commercial nuclear industry leadership experience (2nd level leader and above)

    Any certificates, licenses, etc. required for the position: None
