Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Medical Receptionist to be based in Covina, California. In this role, you will be providing front and back office support in a physical therapy and rehabilitation office, handling administrative tasks, and aiding in physical therapy procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate patient check-in process and manage incoming phone calls and other correspondence.

• Perform routine and periodic cleaning to maintain order and cleanliness throughout the facility.

• Handle medical records requests and tracking accurately, including follow-ups with patients and clinicians as needed.

• Assist in listing and coding procedures for patient billing within the specified timeframe.

• Adhere to all policies and procedures applicable to healthcare and risk management.

• Assist with therapeutic exercise programs and other procedures under the direction of clinical staff.

• Prepare treatment equipment for patients and ensure items are returned after use.

• Use your skills in Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dentrix Dental Software, Eaglesoft, EHR SYSTEM, Answer, Answering Inbound Calls, Billing Functions, and Charts - Graphs, to effectively manage tasks and communicate with patients. Requirements • Position: Medical Receptionist

• Required minimum years of experience: 2

• Proficiency in software and technologies such as Allscripts and Cerner Technologies is mandatory.

• Knowledge of Dentrix Dental Software and Eaglesoft is desired.

• Familiarity with EHR System is crucial.

• Ability to answer and manage inbound calls professionally and efficiently.

• Experience in handling billing functions in a medical setting.

• Competency in creating and interpreting charts and graphs.

• Proven track record of checking patients in and out with efficiency and accuracy.
