Position Summary
The Corporate Account Sales Manager has two major roles which includes responsibility for developing corporate sales business by elevating a productive relationship with our corporate sales suppliers and partners and developing partnerships, programs, and relationships with key targeted management groups
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Corporate Sales (80% of job function subject to change)
Conducts monthly budget planning and corporate sales forecasting for all product categories, with focused attention on our imprint logo ball business.
Actively seeks opportunities to establish productive relationships with new corporate account customers.
Work with clients to position Bridgestone Golf with promotional product suppliers, incentive programs, rewards programs, and distributors.
Strategically plans and implements sales promotions that appeal to corporate customer needs
Provide support that will enable our pad printer and distributor partners to become stronger advocates for our brands.
Establishes a consultative relationship and maintains information flow from Bridgestone to customer base
Provides innovative recommendations on meeting sales needs, maximizing new product introductions and efficiently executing sales promotional programs.
Develop programs and products to support growth initiatives within Bridgestone Golf.
Establish an annual promotional calendar with each customer to position Bridgestone Golf products top of mind during key selling periods.
Work to establish Bridgestone Golf with potential end users and co-branding opportunities
Collaborates with Marketing and field sales to develop annual sales programs for introduction at mid-year Sales Meeting.
Gains expertise on market conditions and trends in business and prepares/ presents business development proposals to BSG Sales Management, Marketing and BSPJ.
Actively participates in regional and national sales meetings and special events
Handles all special requests from the Vice President of Sales in support of sales development.
Other duties may be assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Management Group manager (20% of job function subject to change)
Develop business relationships with targeted management golf corporations
Develop unique programs specific to each individual management group
Track sales progress in management group accounts
Communicate regularly with sales on any current or potential program acceptance and excecution

DESIRED JOB EXPERIENCE
Five years of proven successful field sales experience, preferably in the golf or CPG industry; account-level and multi-tiered merchandising experience, including retail promotion and product display construction; track record of new account development; demonstrated understanding of account management and growth drivers; demonstrated ability to train and coach sales teams; knowledge of the golf industry and maintains a good understanding of golf trade channels, distribution sensitivities and methods for merchandising and promoting product; demonstrated “passion” for success; strong interpersonal skills.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a fully accredited four-year college or university preferred, with emphasis in management, marketing or business administration.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze write, and interpret reports, business correspondence, policies and procedures, sales catalogs, credit applications, sales orders, and technical information about company products. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and employees as well as create effective and persuasive sales presentations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages; draw and interpret bar graphs; calculate discounts, interest, and commissions.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and apply a variety of instructions regarding sales programs and promotions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
