Are you passionate about safety? Are you ready to supercharge you career within the plastics industry? We are seeking a qualified individual who can ensure the safety of employees, contractors and visitors in the facility by leading programs that protect people from environmental, health and safety hazards. Someone to lead the planning, execution, monitoring and continuous improvement of environmental health and safety programs as well as regulatory and legal compliance. This includes identifying and correcting potentially dangerous work activities and ensure training is conducted as required. Please with a updated resume.

Responsibilities
Provide a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, contractors and visitors
Advocate and be a role model for safe behavior
Site Emergency Coordinator for all safety, health and environmental incidents
Manage changes in regulatory requirements
Lead site Health and Safety Committee and related activities
Provide support to the broader organization by sharing and educating on internal/external factors as they related to Health & Safety initiatives
Develop and prepare regular reporting metrics to communicate/review and improve H&S performance against internal and external benchmarks
Use a data driven approach to manage, modify and prioritize site H&S direction
Research environmental regulations and implement changes to ensure compliance and best practices
Develop and maintain site specific environmental policies and programs
Support and lead environmental incident investigations and perform root cause analysis as required
Manage hazardous waste programs
Manage SWPP
