This position will be hybrid in nature at the manager's discretion requiring 2-3 days on-site at a WestinghouseUS Engineering location. No relocation will be provided for this position. We are able to entertain all candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future as we are unable to sponsor Visa's for this opportunity.

Your Day-to-Day: The Poland Project Engineering Organization is looking for a Principal Project Engineer to deliver the first AP1000 Reactors in Poland. The project engineer will report to the Power Block and Site-Specific Project Engineering Manager and be assigned to one or several technical areas. Their specific responsibilities will be as follows: Work with support of Functional Area Lead(s) to ensure progress and scope execution Responsible for the managing the schedule and budgeting Lead point of contact for Functional Area Leads and Project Coordinator Supports the Project Engineering Manager and Design Technical Lead as required Who You Are: As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team: Bachelor's degree in engineering At least 8 years of relevant work experience, previous experience on AP1000 or AP300 preferred Ability to travel internationally as required to support the Poland Project Cognizance in at least one of the following technical areas: Nuclear systems design Turbine Island/Balance of Plant systems or structural design NSSS components design and analyses Piping layout and/or analysis Plant layout integration Civil, Structural and Architectural engineering Electrical design Effective oral and written communications Ability to establish effective networks across various functional areas Why Westinghouse?
