Systems Integration Engineer - 12874

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: POSITION SUMMARY The Systems Integration Engineer is responsible for supporting and collaborating with our Sales, Application Engineering, and Engineered Solutions teams to integrate various systems and provide solutions tailored to client needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Design, develop, and implement software solutions to integrate various systems and machinery. * Customize and configure software applications to meet specific client requirements. * Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance. * Travel to client sites (50% travel) to install, maintain, and support integrated systems. * Perform hands-on technical tasks, including equipment setup, calibration, and troubleshooting. * Provide technical support and training to clients on system operation and maintenance. * Work closely with Sales, Application Engineering, and Engineered Solutions teams to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions. * Assist Sales teams with technical presentations and demonstrations. * Collaborate with Application Engineering to develop custom software applications and integrations. * Utilize programming skills in Python, C#, C++, LUA, XML, Java, and PLC programming to develop and enhance software solutions. * Apply mechanical aptitude to understand and resolve complex technical issues involving both software and hardware components. * Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in technology to provide innovative solutions. * Prepare detailed technical documentation, including system specifications, user manuals, and training materials. * Generate comprehensive reports on system performance, integration results, and client feedback. * Maintain accurate records of all field activities, including installations, maintenance, and support provided. * Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. * 2+ years of previous Information Technology experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience * High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications * Proven experience in system integration and field engineering roles. * Proficiency in programming languages: Python, C#, C++, LUA, XML, Java, and PLC programming. * Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with mechanical systems. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in challenging environments. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams. * Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50% travel requirement).
