Summary About the position: This position is located at RAF Croughton 422 Air Base Squadron Warehouse Must be physically able to frequently lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be able to continuously stand and walk, and frequently stoop, reach, push, pull and bend for long periods of time. Requires a physical examination. May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty (evenings, weekends, and holidays). Off-Duty Military (ODM) Applicants must submit an AF 3902 required prior to appointment. Responsibilities Loads and unloads heavy boxes, bulky supplies, and materials to and from tracks, dollies, etc, moves heavy boxes, cartons, or luggage by hand, handtruck, or dolly; opens crates and boxes using crowbars, and cuts bands using shears; stacks boxes and cartons where directed. Moves and arranges furniture as directed; shovels snow from sidewalks; washes and waxes cars and trucks by hand or power buffer.
