Robert Half Legal Assistant in Crown Point, Indiana
Description Robert Half is seeking an Legal Assistant with at least an internship to one year of experience in the legal field to support attorneys in a fast-paced law firm in Crown Point, IN. Candidates with an internship must possess strong academic credentials. This Legal Assistant must have very strong organizational and communication skills. The responsibilities for this Legal Assistant include but are not limited to:
Input attorney billable time into system, prepares and submits reimbursable expenses; prepares invoices, and tracks payments Transcriptions Make travel arrangements Mailing distributions Maintain attorney calendar by planning and scheduling conferences, teleconferences, dispositions, recording and monitoring court appearance dates, pleadings, and filing requirements Know the importance of keeping client/attorney information confidential Maintain office supplies by checking stocks; placing orders and expediting if necessary Support team by providing information, answering questions and requests Requirements Requirements for this position include:
Bachelor's degree preferred Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Ability to work in a team environment Ability to interact with all levels of Firm staff Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
