Central Florida Clinic for Rehabilitation,is a small private/locally owned Outpatient Rehabilitation facility. We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team.

Job Responsibilities

As a member of our Physical Therapy department your duty will be to provide therapy services for both pediatric and adult patients who present with a wide range of physical, emotional, and developmental needs.

Duties as a Physical Therapy Assistant include:

• All aspects of therapy including direct patient care as documented in the patient evaluation
• Treatment planning
• Implementation of care plans
• Record maintenance
• Reporting treatment results and other requirements as prescribed by the supervising therapist.
• You will keep the treatment area clean and organized and instruct, motivate, safeguard and assist parents as they practice exercises and functional activities.

Additional responsibilities may include:

• Completing any additional testing/paperwork as indicated by supervising therapist
• Assisting in the transportation of patients as needed
• Filling out insurance forms and other paperwork
• Reading patient evaluations

Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited PTA school
• Must have valid PTA certification from Florida Department of Health
• First Aid/CPR certified
• Possess basic knowledge in all the modalities
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and assist in the lifting, pulling and/or pushing of patient frequently
• Equine Experience Preferred

Work Location: In person

Work Schedule: Full-time and Part time positions available/ 8-hour shift/Monday to Friday
