In this role as Marketing Manager you will be responsible for defining strategy, planning and execution of site merchandising tactics on Amazon.com to drive customer growth for Amazon Music. Your mission is to help Amazon Music scale globally and you will work cross-functionally across growth, product, promotions, and BI to drive the growth of Amazon Music. You will play a crucial role in optimizing marketing placements, enhancing brand presence, and driving conversions to acquire and engage customers. You are a data-driven marketer and a leader who’s particularly energized by driving aggressive growth and looking for new areas to learn and scale. Success in this role requires strategic and analytical thinking in the marketing space, where you will build ambitious plans and test white space opportunities. You will identify how to acquire customers at scale, while ensuring quality listening experiences. Overall, you will be entrepreneurial, push boundaries and execute breakthrough campaigns.

Key job responsibilities

  • Serve as a cross-platform merchandising expert and drive global execution of best practices and learnings. Lead growth strategy for Amazon Music through on-site Amazon.com placements.

  • Continuous A/B testing of visual merchandising, including creative imagery, messaging and CTAs.

  • Lead the coordination, testing strategy, and launch of global merchandising placements during high-velocity retail events (HVE), such as Prime Day, Prime Big Deals Day, Black Friday/Cyber Monday.

  • Drive personalization and experimentation roadmap on Amazon.com working with Product, BI and Amazon partner teams to delight customers with recommendations on latest releases, playlist, podcasts, livestreams and more. Drive platform features and tooling optimizations.

  • Understand and create customer segmentation, cohorts and testing plans to optimize for Amazon Music growth and drive high value actions.

  • Proactively drive measurement and learning framework with BI and Metrics teams. Establish and optimize reports and perform detailed analysis to drive conversion rates.

  • Obsess over customers and how they discover Amazon Music on Amazon.com and mobile app, Amazon devices and owned and operated entities.

  • Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance business reviews and projections for each country, showcasing results the team has delivered and presenting to country and executive leadership

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of marketing experience

  • 3+ years of digital marketing experience with consumer facing brands, including integrated campaign management, customer acquisition, content marketing, marketing experimentation, product marketing and/or channel marketing.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.

  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Strong project management skills, managing internal and external stakeholders, and multiple campaigns at once.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with consumer products, media and/or e-commerce.

  • Experience with subscription-based consumer products.

  • Global experience driving marketing programs across multiple markets.

  • Natural curiosity to measure, test, learn and iterate in order to get the best results possible.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
