Description We are in search of a Jr. Engineer Support to join our team in Cupertino, California. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity in the IT industry, where you will be expected to provide top-tier IT services, maintain customer relationships, and assist with project management. You will be key in maintaining the smooth operation of our company's technology infrastructure and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver first-class IT services to a diverse range of customers.
• Foster and maintain positive relationships with all clients to ensure their IT needs are met.
• Participate in small projects and provide support to Senior Engineers in larger project undertakings.
• Monitor and track service tickets to guarantee timely resolution.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of the client’s specific business environment.
• Communicate regularly with clients, managing expectations and prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Clearly explain technical information to non-technical individuals.
• Provide regular status updates, root-cause analysis, and suggestions to address issues.
• Apply basic troubleshooting skills to problems before escalating to the appropriate group.
• Take ownership of tasks, ensuring complete resolution and quality of work.
• Learn new technologies quickly through self-study and intuition.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve team goals. Requirements • Possesses proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• Holds a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field
• Exhibits strong problem-solving abilities
• Displays excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to work collaboratively within a team setting
• Demonstrates a strong understanding of engineering principles and techniques
• Shows ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Has a keen attention to detail
• Willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools
