The Legal and Global Security Operations (LGS) team is seeking a Legal Operations Portfolio and Product Senior Manager to tackle the responsibility of driving progress on LGS Operations transformation roadmap initiatives. This role will lead and manage a diverse portfolio of legal operations organizational and technology initiatives, including Matter Management, Workflow Management, and Change Management. This role will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, streamlining processes, and enhancing the overall efficiency of LGS. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of legal technology and its application in the legal industry, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This position requires a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead change initiatives, and develop innovative legal technology solutions.
Description
The role requires a deep understanding of legal operations, technology, and behavior to drive strategic programs that improve operational efficiency, promote regulatory compliance, and mitigate risk including but not limited to the following responsibilities: - Own and manage a diverse portfolio of legal operations initiatives, including matter management, change management, and workflow management. - Drive the development and implementation of innovative legal technology solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. - Develop and execute comprehensive product management strategies across legal operations, aligning with the broader business objectives, and lead teams to accomplish them; collaborate cross-functionally to identify and resolve complex technology, org, and strategic challenges. - Co-develop and lead change initiatives - including training and communication - ensuring smooth transitions, maximizing adoption, and minimizing disruption. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex legal operations challenges. - Mentor and develop a high-performing team of legal operations professionals, with an emphasis on collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to design and shape new and existing solutions and programs. - Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including legal teams, business units, and IS&T. - Manage review and selection process of vendors and legal service providers as well as ongoing relationships - Utilize data analytics to identify trends, measure performance, and inform decision-making.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of experience across Legal Operations with particular emphasis on Matter Management, Workflow Management, and Change Management
Proven expertise in process optimization, product development, program management, and technology design

Proven leader with the ability to operate autonomously, optimize and organization, and motivate teams to drive complex strategies
Executive presence and ability to identify innovative opportunities, present plans, and influence outcomes
Experience using data to measure and optimize
Clear and concise verbal and writing skills

Ability to apply non-legal disciplines to legal challenges
Advanced degree in law, business administration, or a related field

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $178,900 and $269,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
