We are currently seeking a strategic and creative professional to serve as a Public Relations Manager on our corporate communications team. This core team member will establish and maintain lasting relationships with press, social media influencers, and other community stakeholders.
Description
This PR Manager will collaborate with teams across the Company to execute a communications strategy for sharing Apple's values with the world. Apple’s values are what set us apart, and you will translate that into highly relevant and engaging communications to forge deeper connections with our current and potential community of users. You will drive impactful coverage and feature stories. Responsibilities will also include writing and developing thoughtful pitches and press materials, staffing events and media briefings, and identifying and managing issues in a continuous news cycle. You should have a keen ability to prioritize, focus, and simplify priorities and opportunities, driving projects with a relentless attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter who brings a passion for consumer technology, closely follows news and relevant trends, and has a track record of originating creative opportunities that deliver strong media coverage. You will bring energy, ideas and an appetite to bring fresh storytelling ideas to fruition. You will help us find new relationships amongst the talent and communities that use our products to deliver the world’s most exciting work, and will be tasked with leading our efforts in finding new media and social platforms through which we can tell those stories.
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years experience in public relations, journalism, PR agency, or corporate settings.

BS/BA or equivalent experience.
Effectively builds formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization.
Develops and delivers effective communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
Ability to analyze complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
Understands internal and external stakeholder requirements, expectations, and needs; able to prioritize multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Experience in media relations and have developed a network of media contacts in creative, tech, design and cultural platforms.
Successfully delivered creative PR campaigns that have resulted in meaningful impact.
Strong media judgment, problem-solving skills, and ability create new opportunities.
Capable of analyzing media coverage and sentiment, anticipating problems, and applying insights to the team’s work.
Self-motivated, possess a positive team-player attitude and passionate about consumer technology. Self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities as well as exceptional project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Superb attention to detail.
Able to work with ambiguity and on complex topics across multiple jurisdictions. Skilled in multi-tasking, delivering under tight timelines, adapting quickly to change.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,900 and $216,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
