And we believe we’re just getting started! We are seeking a motivated, ambitious Product Manager with passion for data to join the App Data Intelligence team in Cupertino. You will work with partners from a diverse set of business and engineering teams to design and build innovative analytics tools for app developers, while upholding Apple’s industry-leading standards for privacy and data protections. In this role, you will join the team responsible for building the reporting and data systems used by app developers all around the world.

Description

As the Product Manager for App Store Growth Analytics and Insights, you will work alongside cross-functional partners in areas such as design, engineering, product, operations, legal, and PR to define and deliver clear, accurate, and actionable insights for developers in App Analytics. You will chart a strategic course for developers in the analytics space, using your combined expertise in the app industry and data-driven decision making to help them understand and improve their apps’ performance on the App Store. Responsibilities include: Understanding app developers’ goals for driving business outcomes on Apple’s platforms and advocating their needs to create great analytics tools in App Store Connect. Leveraging data to build intuitive tools that help developers make better decisions, such as peer group benchmarks, A/B testing the App Store product page, and automated insights. Delivering scalable analytics and insights in a dynamic environment while managing multiple projects and responsibilities. Using analytics to inform developer adoption of App Store features, like Custom Product Pages, In-App Events, Offers and more. Establishing a product vision and strategy for App Store developer analytics, and implementing via incremental feature launches. Maintaining awareness of the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to inform product strategy and development.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product or engineering experience with data analytics and reporting in a digital industry.

  • Solid understanding and experience working with data pipelines, business metrics, and data visualizations in the mobile app industry.

  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to communicate and influence effectively using data and insights.

  • BA/BS or equivalent; Advanced degree a plus.

  • Full product lifecycle management experience, including user acceptance testing, launch, measuring success, and end of life processes.

  • Strong interpersonal skills; can clearly and effectively communicate and maintain relationships with a cross-functional group of internal and external partners.

  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity to understand complex systems.

  • Excellent written & verbal business communication skills.

  • Strong storytelling skills, including the ability to put data into context for non-technical audiences.

  • A curiosity about large language models (LLMs) and generative AI capabilities and how they might be leveraged to enable innovative developer tools.

  • Comfortable building products and visualizations that leverage big data and production-grade data pipelines.

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to see the big picture.

  • Able to thrive in highly collaborative projects, and navigate ambiguity.

  • Knowledge of mobile software ecosystems, including competitive and 3rd party products and strategy.

  • Proficiency with Keynote and strong presentation abilities.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $165,500 and $248,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
