Apple's worldwide communications team informs the world about the Company, our innovative products and services, and the values that drive our company.

Description

This role will coordinate with PR teams in the US and internationally, helping create and execute launches, including the operational PR elements of event-led initiatives, third-party communications, and monitor and analyze developments in the news. On this team, we identify and manage issues in a fast-paced environment and continuous news cycle while cultivating relationships with media, social influencers and with internal and external partners. We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated with a passion for media, consumer technology, and values-based communications ideas. In this role, the Senior PR Manager will help drive planning and execute product PR launches and programs, pitch and coordinate cross-functionally across the company, project manage an end-to-end process involving PR facets of an event-based initiatives. They must have a passion for organization, planning and events-driven processes, and possess excellent communication and project management skills, curiosity for technology-based solutions and thrive in a fast-paced, fluid environment.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience in public relations, journalism, PR agency, events or corporate settings.

  • Previous experience leading successful PR programs.

  • Strong PR experience in the areas of consumer technology, consumer lifestyle and digital services/apps, are preferred.

  • You are self-motivated, possess a positive team-player attitude and are passionate about media relations, creative story-telling, problem solving and values-based communications issues.

  • You should be able to handle multiple projects and thrive in a very dynamic environment.

  • You should have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • You have excellent written and verbal communications skills and detailed project management skills.

  • You are a self-starter who is dedicated and demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities.

  • You are able to work well under pressure, with proven experience working on complex, international, large-scale, time-critical projects.

  • You have demonstrated experience advocating for projects and influencing teams beyond your control.

  • Event-based project management experience is an advantage.

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $182,200 and $274,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
