The ideal candidate is organized, a clear communicator, and can demonstrate strong and effective collaboration. They have a strong engineering background with a history of building strong strategic technical solutions through cross-functional partnerships. In this role, they will: • Work closely with developer, SRE, and infrastructure teams to understand and formalize the architecture, processes, key metrics, and constraints of iCloud deployments in the US and abroad. • Build accurate business-value-centric models in areas of capacity, traffic profile, and availability & durability of complex interdependent systems. • Define systematic infrastructure & platform reporting procedures that will be instrumental in supporting growth & new features, improving cost-efficiency, and informing decisions on improvements prioritization. • Leverage, improve, and build tooling to validate and monitor key assumptions by providing visibility and alerting should they change. • Help build alignment on the structure of $100M+ deployments to support organic growth & strategic initiatives. • Clearly communicate options, constraints, opportunities, and recommendations to a wide range of stakeholders including management and leadership.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent related experience. Advanced Degree preferred.
