J & P PALLET COMPANY Pallet Assembler/Laborer in Curwensville, Pennsylvania
RATE OF PAY TO BE DISCUSSED. Work 7:00 am to end, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week, with possible overtime.
Must be neat clean in appearance, able to read a ruler accurately and quickly distinguish between boards of various thickness and length.
For example, must be able to properly select a 5/8 inch thick board vs. a 7/8 inch thick board. Use work order to select the proper jig, set it up, and ensure square of the finished product.
Select correct number of boards of the proper length thickness. Insert boards into jig use nail gun to nail boards together. Pallet must be the correct type size. Must be able to remove the constructed pallet from the jig sitting on the table stack the pallet on the floor, so must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
The work will be performed inside a large unheated building. Training will be provided, included possibly training on a fork lift. Help to load tractor trailer vans with finished pallets.
