As Market Development Engineer specializing in IP&E technologies,you will determine, develop, scale, and lead the implementation of successful, comprehensive solution programs that accelerate market, sales, and profit growth within the associated markets or business segments.
What will you be doing?
You will specialize in key market segments and technologies of the business, as assigned within the dedicated Vertical
You will own the go-to-market strategy plan for the assigned market/business segment
Conduct business strategy activities to include total available market, market share, segmentation, competitive analysis, emerging trends, SWOT, and product positioning
Collaborate with the BU on product road mapping, new product development, and product management activities to support the assigned market
Work with supplier, product management, and other product and engineering resources to clarify product and service needs, requirements, and priorities
Create, gain approvals for, and execute (upon approval) comprehensive products and service offers
Contribute to the development of communication programs and materials for use in business development
Evaluate, recommend, and manage supplier and channel programs within the assigned market
Contribute to the development of marketing campaigns, tools, and training programs aimed to drive increased market share and visibility for internal, and external stakeholders
Lead market or segment-based Voice of Customer activities to capture product reception and validate new marketing opportunities
Build and manage influential relationships with key suppliers.
Make "joint" calls with ARROW and supplier's Sales personnel where it is strategically and tactically appropriate on a regular basis
Be involved with supplier web training for new products, new product releases, and supplier promotions, and identify market/customer penetration strategies with the appropriate products
What are we looking for?
Experience in electronics industry or manufacturing in similar positions in Sales, Engineering, Marketing or Product management - must have
Experience in IP&E
Experience in engineering and business strategy -market & customer segmentation; competitive product benchmarking, financial analysis (ROI, pricing, scenario analysis) - must have
Strong sales skills
Full driving license and readiness for business travel - must have
English language skills - fluently in writing and spoken
Spanish language skills (native or C1)
Expertise in engaging to executive-level stakeholders
Track record in delivering results in market / segment management or development of comprehensive solutions offers in business-to-business industry
Understanding of performance measurement tools and technology
Demonstration of project / team leadership, and collaboration skills
