Tyson Foods Administrative Assistant I - Central Sales East (Dakota Dunes, SD) in Dakota Dunes, South Dakota

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for performing routine administrative duties and reports. This could include but is not limited to; professional correspondence and memos, data entry, order creation, record keeping; customer data base maintenance; answering a multiple-line phone system and handling routine inquiries or requests, directing calls or taking messages; greeting and directing visitors; sorting and distributing mail and faxes; preparing UPS and Federal Express shipments; photocopying; maintaining files; generating reports; scheduling meetings; coordinating travel reservations; ordering supplies; any other duties or special projects as assigned.


Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 1 plus years' office experience.

Computer Skills: Standard computer skills; Microsoft Office.

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Special Skills: Work involves occasional non-routine assignments; requires some judgment in the selection of standard procedures from among several that apply to the job; ability to organize work and selecting appropriate methods to complete tasks; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; multi-tasking is necessary.

This is a clerical position that is paid hourly.

This position does not offer reimbursement for interview expenses and/or relocation assistance. Priority consideration will be provided to area applicants that reside within a 50 mile radius of the posted location first.
