Position Description:

Represents Texas Tech University both on and off campus to prospective students, parents, staff and faculty of area high schools and community colleges to attract quality applicants and achieve enrollment goals. Coordinates and contributes to the success of various visit schedules for area high school and community colleges in the assigned area. Plans assigned recruiting events and programs. Counsels prospective applicants on the admissions process and opportunities at the university.

  • New TTU Online student inquiry appointments; Major/Modality exploration, Application Process. 30%

  • New TTU Online admitted student appointments; Next Steps/TTU Student Systems/ Connection to Student Advocates, Academic Advising, Financial Aid Advising, Enrollment in Online Micro-credential. 30%

  • Partner with all campus student services for immediate student needs. 15%

  • Student initiated personal appointments. 15%

  • Plan and implement organized schedule to accomplish meeting with a full caseload of students. 10%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Must demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn and utilize customer relationship software, Salesforce. Demonstrate working knowledge of admissions policies and procedures, enrollment goals, university facts, knowledge of recruitment market, and proficient use of admissions and recruitment technology.

  • Working knowledge of higher education recruitment and admissions. Sales and territory management experience. Event planning, coordination and implementation.

  • Experience in admissions desirable. Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred. Customer service experience. Must be able to be approved as a driver for state fleet vehicles.

Manages schedule to ensure immediate communication to all new students inquiring about TTU Online programs and newly admitted applicants to help them with all support systems in place at Texas Tech. Connects newly admitted students directly to their success team, including student advocates, academic advising, and financial aid advising. Title reserved for the use of TTU Online.
