PRN Nurse works an on-call intermittent basis in a State Correctional Institution.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a PRN Nurse, you will perform as a charge nurse, staff nurse, or an assessment coordinator providing nursing care and treatment services within a commonwealth facility.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Per Diem employment. Work Hours: As needed; up to 48 hours bi-weekly. Per Diem employees work all shifts as needed (shifts vary). 1st shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM) 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) 3rd shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM) This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55. Please Note:  Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting hourly salary of $46.13.
