This is a hybrid role, requiring in-office work every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays. Attendance at the office on all three in-office days is mandatory.

Overview

The Account Supervisor is responsible for the cross-discipline integration behind our client, launches and corresponding sustainment work. As stewards of the brand, this person brings a team together and leads the overall business planning aspect of client initiatives. The Supervisor is a partner who works closely with strategy and creative counterparts to help solve client’s unique objectives. The role requires someone who is extremely resourceful, a self-starter, with excellent people skills able to manage multiple projects, both online and offline, happening simultaneously. In this position, the ideal candidate can ignite new connections, build them, and work through an intricate web of both client and agency teams. This requires someone who is comfortable being a disrupter with the ability to respectfully challenge and push our teams to bring best-in-class creative and champion new ways of thinking.

Results oriented, the Supervisor instills a higher level of measurability and accountability to the rest of the team. He/she embraces the Conill spirit of Different Rules. Bilingual English/Spanish required.

Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly understand designated pieces of client's business for which the Account Supervisor is responsible

  • Part of understanding the client’s business includes staying abreast of sales data, competitive activity and general industry news

  • Bring clarity to client expectations early in a project

  • Supports the growth and develop the designated business

  • Supervise "day-to-day'' designated client initiatives, including, but not limited to, business-building, strategy, media and creative projects

  • Play an essential role in major presentations to clients, including annual planning, and selling creative, media plans and integrated campaign initiatives

  • Provide guidance to clients, assisting them with all aspects of their marketing and advertising. Be willing to engage clients on difficult issues.

  • Provide leadership, support and supervision to Account Management team designated to specific pieces of business: the Account Executive (AE), Sr. Account Executive (Sr. AE) and the Account Coordinator (AC); inspire, motivate, train and mentor the team as appropriate. Advise agency leaders on growth potential for members of the team

  • Supports development of assignment briefs in partnership with strategic planning.

  • Supports team in management of overall budget and scope

  • Takes responsibility for overall communication to the client, providing insight to agency team members regarding client business or project-specific needs

  • Understands how to manage client expectations regarding timing, schedules and process

  • Works closely with project management on project timing and execution

  • Consults with appropriate stakeholders and subject-matter experts throughout the process, including working with them to sell “breakthrough ideas” to client. This requires a level of trust, instinct and risk-taking/risk-management.

  • Leads client status meetings and ensures all client interactions are recapped in contact reports

  • Assist in development of project metrics and maintains full working knowledge of them

  • Responsible for trafficking of campaign assets to ensure live dates are met across all platforms

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5-7 years in advertising experience or relevant communications role(s). Prior Hispanic market experience is highly preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

  • A strong ability to work collaboratively with other agency leadership in media, strategic planning, digital and creative.

  • Solid writing and presentation skills for both internal and external audiences

  • Experience working on a large national brand

  • Self-motivated, with the ability to create great internal and client relationship

Compensation Range: $90,000 - $107,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
