Job Description:

This key position will provide professional administrative support to an active academic center located in the Bass School’s Arts, Humanities, and Technology. Effective communication abilities in person, by phone, and via email are essential. This role includes interacting with visitors, students, staff, faculty, the advisory council, and members of the community, as well as provide support for the many Ackerman Center events held throughout the year. In addition, mastery of the University’s travel system, as well as financial aid and scholarships. The candidate for this job should also have a working knowledge and proficiency of People Soft and related software systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and five years of office administration or project management experience including two years at an Administrative Assistant I level or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

The candidate for this position should have strong organizational and computer skills and be adept at using Microsoft Office Suite and Excel. A background in People Soft is also strongly desired.
