This job falls within the IOC Operations Support and Planning team in the Integrated Operations division
What you'll do
As noted above, this list is intended to reflect the current job but there may be additional essential functions (and certainly non-essential job functions) that are not referenced. Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.
Administers overtime for both Central Load Planning and Dispatch teams as needed, including day-in-advance and day-of overtime
Uses Ascent Workforce management software (scheduling engine) to create schedules daily
Interfaces with Dispatch and Central Load Planning on all scheduling fronts
Creates 3-4 shift bids per year for Central Load Planning, including Schedule, Vacation and Open Relief bids
Communicates operational plans, impacts and decisions to both management and front-line employees
Updates Workbrain for Central Load Planning exceptions
Reviews and awards Central Load Planning vacation change requests
Monitors and reports on team member attendance in accordance with attendance policy for Central Load Planning and Dispatch
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
2 years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
3 years of experience in workforce planning and scheduling
3 years of analytical experience
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Ability to work varying shifts, 7 days a week
Working knowledge of the shift scheduling and exception process
Strong aptitude for problem solving and results analysis
Skilled in analyzing data and preparing required reports
Possess excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to concisely present work
Effective organization and planning skills
Knowledge of software applications Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
Must be able to fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access
