You will help build products that will transform the world by making technology reachable, affordable and accessible for all.

About the Job

The job offers the opportunity to design, architect and micro architect IPs meeting data movement, interconnect, safety, security, Realtime functionality, Multimedia, ARM CPU Cores, Vision analytics and camera/display interfaces IP needs within Embedded Processor IP team. As an IP design engineer, you will be part of a team with a charter to develop infrastructure IPs, Multimedia IPs covering capture to display with processing through graphics, video, imaging etc and/or ARM CPU cores, that solve our customers’ challenges primarily in the growing automotive and industrial space. As an IP owner, you will drive the requirements gathering, design, and implementation of the IPs to ensure that differentiated IP meets all functional requirements as well as holds high quality standards.

You will interface with various engineering teams within Processor including SoC design, verification, validation, test, systems, SW, applications and marketing to successfully develop new IPs from concept to design. Expertise in Data movement and bus protocols (AMBA, OCP etc) is must and knowledge of interrupt, security, safety, coherence, ARM CPU cores and/or Multimedia IPs (imaging, display and vision) are desirable.

You will be a core member in the IP design team driving flawless execution, while finding innovative solutions to customers’ problems through “out of the box thinking” to deliver highly differentiated products.

Job Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Be a key team member from IP requirement definition till release to market, working closely with all cross-functional teams

  • Define or enhance the micro-architecture for Digital IP blocks

  • RTL development and QC flows (Lint, CDC, synthesis) to ensure superior IP quality

  • Interface with 3 rd party IP vendors and drive requirements and delivery milestones/quality

  • Work closely with IP verification team to help build the IP verification plan and tests. Support functional debugs

  • Support IP during silicon bring-up activities, test program development, customer engagement and silicon/application debug

  • Drive IP architectural optimization for area, power and performance improvements
