Robert Half Healthcare Sr. Budget Analyst in Dallas, Texas

Description

We are offering a 4 to 5 month contract employment opportunity for an experienced Healthcare Sr. Budget Analyst in DALLAS, Texas, United States. This role lies within the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry and primarily involves managing budget-related tasks for our extensive network of clinics and providers.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the overall budget process for approximately 400 clinics and 1900 providers.

• Regularly adjust and update budgets, using the previous year as a reference point.

• Work closely with operations to ensure that budget assumptions are valid and accurate.

• Utilize software like Axiom or Kaufman Hall to streamline budget processes.

• Function under the supervision of the Director of Finance.

• Understand and analyze the drivers of clinical operations that impact our financial status.

• Leverage your expertise in Excel to manage and model data effectively.

• Engage in detailed and clear conversations with various stakeholders involved in the budget cycle.

• Bring your experience and knowledge of the healthcare industry to bear in all aspects of your work.

Requirements • Extensive experience in budgeting within the healthcare industry, including hospitals and social assistance

• Proficient in annual budget preparation and budget processes

• In-depth understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, specifically related to clinics

• Experience in managing budgets for physician clinics and outpatient clinics

• Strong skills in budgeting and forecasting

• Proven ability to prepare annual budgets

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Familiarity with social assistance programs and their budget requirements

• Ability to analyze complex financial data and create clear, actionable reports for stakeholders

• Adept at working collaboratively in a team environment and dealing with multiple stakeholders
