Deloitte Lead Onshore Data Engineer in Dallas, Texas

Work you'll do/Responsibilities
Augment existing data product team to drive key data engineering & maintenance activities within the clients existing data ecosystem.
Drive ETL development, productionalization, defect resolution, and framework design across the following data platforms: Azure ADLS, DataBricks, Teradata, Hadoop/Hive, Control M.
Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

As a part of the US Strategy & Analytics Offering Portfolio, the AI & Data offering provides managed AI, Intelligent Automation, and Data DevOps services across the advise-implement-operate spectrum.
Qualifications Required
10+ years of Data Engineering experience & strong background and hands-on experience in cloud data engineering
10+ years' experience working with pharmacy business functions within a health-plan
10+ years of experience developing applications for on-prem data platforms
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
Preferred
Experience within Healthcare industry
Background knowledge working with key healthcare data domains (e.g. Claims, Membership, Provider)
Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities
Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products
Can operate independently or with minimum supervision
Excellent Written and Communication Skills
Ability to deliver technical demonstrations
