  • The Manager, Cybersecurity Portfolio Management role will have a significant impact on AA’s overall cybersecurity posture by ensuring effective governance and oversight of cybersecurity projects and reporting, leading to improved transparency, prioritization, and risk management, ultimately enhancing AA’s overall cybersecurity posture and resilience

  • The role is a part of the Cybersecurity team within the Technology group.

What you'll do

  • Provide oversight for the cybersecurity portfolio for guidelines, processes, and procedures related to planning, strategy, reporting, and metrics

  • Collaborate with cybersecurity leaders to ensure all product teams are compliant with portfolio management guidelines

  • Oversee cybersecurity product teams to ensure release roadmaps and backlog prioritizations align with strategic priorities

  • Connect project funding to annual plan deliverables, ensuring appropriate resources are allocated to prioritized initiatives

  • Monitor and track progress of cybersecurity product team initiatives against milestones and/or OKRs

  • Provide support for Executive, Business Unit, and overall reporting requirements, including cybersecurity metrics

  • Provide structure to support consistency across Cybersecurity reporting

  • Monitor and report on the progress of cybersecurity initiatives

  • Support management of the annual cybersecurity budget, and support development of annual financial plan

  • Determine frameworks to support consistency across the portfolio for Cybersecurity planning, strategy, reporting, and metrics

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience in portfolio management, including managing cybersecurity projects, programs, or initiatives

  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership or managerial role, overseeing a team of cybersecurity professionals

  • 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity strategic and financial planning

  • 5+ years of experience with utilizing program metrics to track cybersecurity program goals

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

  • Master's degree in Management, Business Administration, Cybersecurity, or a related field

  • Familiarity with industry-specific regulations (e.g., TSA, FAA, PCI DSS) and their cybersecurity requirements

  • Experience working in highly regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or government

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, tools, and best practices

  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks and methodologies

  • Strong knowledge of Agile work management principles and best practices and familiarity with Agile tools

  • Ability to stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and regulatory changes

  • Professional certifications related to cybersecurity and project management (e.g., CISSP, CISM, PMP, or PRINCE2) are desirable
