Job Title: Manhole Refurbishing Technician (ECM)
Job Summary: ECM Holding Group Inc, has an opportunity fora Manhole Refurbishing Technician. This role performs tasks involving maintenance and rehabilitation of underground sewer and manhole structures utilizing hand tools and power tools to restore structural integrity. This position can be located remotely in close proximately to an airport as it requires travel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
High-pressure water profiling, pressure washing, hydro blasting and grouting.
Applying spray foam and/or epoxy coating.
Rehab manholes using foam coating, epoxy coating, spray, and trowel.
Replace or adjust manhole ring, frames, and covers.
Utilize flow-through sewer plugs
Seal and stop infiltration around cracks, seams, and pipe connections.
Confined space entry (manholes and underground structures).
Conduct foam and epoxy patching.
Install various frame seal products.
Utilize a grinder, sandblasting and a concrete spray rig.
Ability to obtain and maintain medical clearance required to wear tight fitting respirators.
Adheres to all ECM safety policies, procedures, and instructions from Management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age
Must have an un-restricted driver license
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum two (2) years of epoxy coating and concrete repair OR, any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Hand and power tool experience.
Must be able to read and distinguish blueprints.
Must be able to read and follow safety standards on labels.
Must be able to work in confined spaces/confined space certified.
Knowledge of foam fabrication techniques.
Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in the construction or repair of structures, highways, or roads.
Knowledge of materials, production processes, and quality control.
Takes pride in craftsmanship.
Works within precise standards of accuracy.
Must be willing to travel
