Become a member of an exciting speech-language pathology program! The position will provide evaluation and intervention services to children and adolescents with speech and language disorders as well as coordinate a small group program when necessary. Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy for children with a variety of communication disorders. Supervise graduate student clinicians in a clinical setting. Other clinical duties will be assigned as needed.

Continuing education opportunities are available.

Supervise graduate students in the Communication Disorders program; other duties as assigned. Must have or be eligible for a Texas license to practice speech-language pathology. Must have a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and be eligible to supervise graduate student clinicians.

The starting salary range for recent graduates with 0-2 years of experience is $65,000 – $66,000. Minimum salary increases based on years of experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology; ASHA CCC or in process of completing CFY ; TX state license in Speech-Language Pathology or eligibility for are required.

Experience providing speech therapy with children and adults with various communication disorders.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Preferred Education and Experience

Three years experience working with preschool-age children with language disorders. In addition, experience coordinating a group program for children with communication difficulties. Training is available.
