Job Summary: The Material Planner is responsible for communication on materials, tracking, min, and max levels, and to work effectively in AMOS. Professional communication with customer service managers, buyers, stores, and production personnel is required. As the AMOS Projects Specialist you will create, monitor, and edit projects to ensure all information is linked, and correct when in the AMOS billing screen. The position will work with the other departments to capture all costs before it goes to final billing.
Essential Job Duties:
Responsible for accurate and timely delivery of material planning items for the operation
Review materials needed and communicated with CSM and Buyers on next steps for materials needed
Utilize AMOS M&E system to coordinate materials from purchasing and stores
Communicates and follows up with suppliers on AWB’s and delivery dates of materials
Export inventory reports using AMOS to provide to internal and external customers
Works well with CSMs and finance on AMOS projects
Ability to understand and work effectively in AMOS and grasp AMOS impact on SAP
Understands customer contracts and ensures all charges are captured on projects and/or billing
Familiar with FAA 145 engine shop terminology and understands the HAECO GES business
Support Buyers when needed and acts as a backup Buyer when required
Use MS Excel to export reports, filter, and run pivot tables as needed from AMOS and Quantum
Secondary Duties:
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
Minimum:
3+ years of aviation materials experience
3+ years of Quantum Control ERP experience with the capability to learn AMOS system rapidly
Must have advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
Must be able to deal with confidential information appropriately
Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Preferred :
Strong experience with AMOS highly desired
Degree in business or industry-related field a plus
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 15 pounds, climb stairs, bend, and stoop, as necessary.
Normal or corrected hearing and vision are required.
Normal office environment where approximately 90% of work is performed in a sitting position.
