This position offers a great opportunity to work on industry leading processor devices, targeted for broad applications in ADAS and Industrial markets. In this role, you’ll be a member of a cross-functional team working on new and innovative DfT (Design-for-Test) techniques, to drive low cost test solutions for Complex / Analog IPs, for high volume production testing using Advantest & Teradyne ATE platforms. You’ll work on cutting-edge CMOS process technology nodes 16nm moving to 8nm, targeting a wide breadth of product offerings from high performance and high cost to low power and low cost.
Responsibilities include:
As a member of the Sitara Product & Test Engineering Team, you’ll be required to own, participate, lead, and drive below activities:
Primary responsibility will include New Product Development and Bring-up on ATE.
This includes participating in Product DFT/Design Reviews at Pre-PG to outline ATE Test Requirements and enabling max-DFT for reduced cost ATE test solution.
Post-PG responsibilities include Silicon Bring-up, Debug and executing Post-silicon validation activities on ATE as Characterization & Qualification.
During these various stages of Post-Silicon validation, you will be required to interact with various cross-functional teams as Program Management, QRE/CQE, Design, and Bench Characterization and Apps development teams
Will actively own or be part of a team that owns ATE Test Solutions, including HW design, socket design, Resource Allocation, Board Schematic, Layout, and Diagnostic code.
Will own product from bring-up to RTM and also own all the Product Entitlement goals for MPY, FTY, Test-Cost, and OTCs.
Document gaps, lessons learned, and best practices with Design DFT teams to address on future products
Having additional knowledge of Analog, Trim, High Speed Interfaces (PCIe, JESD, LVDS, CSI, DSI, QSPI), Power Management, massive multi-site, and/or I/Ps requiring Safety & Security is considered a plus.
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related degree program
5 years of relevant experience
ATE experience, including characterization test program and hardware development experience, Production test program and hardware development experience
Strong technical knowledge of electronic devices and circuits, and test techniques
Data analysis skills using MBayse, Spotfire, dataPower or equivalent tool based on STDF
Experienced with various lab equipment such as scopes, power supplies etc.
Experience with product engineering activities such as yield improvement and test time reduction
Strong understanding of the IC product development process, from concept to volume production
Preferred qualifications:
ATE Characterization, Qualification, and Production test hardware & software development experience
ATE on uFlex or equivalent ATE (V93k, VLCT), uFlex experience is preferred and is a differentiator
Experienced with test program and hardware offload to TI offshore manufacturing sites
Proficiency in programming/scripting in C , Python, C#, JAVA
Revision control tools experience: bitbucket
Analyze test data to thoroughly understand and resolve problems
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple stake holder expectation and interactions
Willingness to learn new things even when it might not directly be related to the job role/responsibility
Develop and drive innovation in test to drive test cost to entitlement
Help mentor / train a team of product/test engineers to a higher level of performance and ability
Create and implement highly optimized tester agnostic & design centric test methods
Optimize production test programs, including test time reduction activities, and yield Improvement
Present analysis and conclusions to internal customer teams in a comprehensive and effective manner
