Job Description:

The Program Development and Outreach Coordinator position in the Office of Research and Innovation will directly support the rapid and steady growth of our research enterprise and maintain outreach programs that work to increase our federal research expenditures.

This position is responsible for supporting the design, planning, and implementation of various departmental events and programs. Examples include development meetings with corporate and government sponsors, departmental seminars and workshops, school or center receptions, and various other high-profile events and programs. This position impacts the university’s image.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, with 3-5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong aptitude in navigating digital tools and platforms.

  • Ability to express ideas effectively and professionally via written platforms.

  • Approach challenges with solution-based thinking and creative problem-solving to enhance event programming.
