Corporate Quality team in our Richardson, Texas office is looking for a Qualty Engineer to join our team. As part of this role, you will be challeneged to help drive innovation within our processes and disaggregated Optical solutions, suppport monitoring of depoyed hardware and sotware and Wireless products. Role includes but is not limited to identification of system deficiencies, focus on customer satisfaction, driving issue resolution and use of analytical methods and tools for driving process improvements and vendor management. Ideal candidate for this role will:

JOB DESCRIPTION (Include primary purpose and major functions):

  • Able to learn/understand basic system architechture and operation in order to define and resolve issues

  • Work with and help establish new analytic methods for identification of potential hardware/software defficiencies

  • Support existing products deployed in the field with quality monitoring and issue resolution

  • Established analytic methods for identification of problem areas as they relate to s/w deployments, system integration and applications

  • Perform data analysis for driving continuous improvements and help improve customer satisfaction

  • Collaborate with business teams (software and hardware, PLM…) teams to identify and report issues and final resolution status to key stakeholders

  • Participate in the developemnt of processes and procedures for reporting of metrics

  • Vendor management by driving corective aciton process in order to eliminate customer issues

  • Able to communicate effectively with customers (internal and external)

  • Attend/lead required departmental and project meetings

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or masters in Industrial or Electrial Engineering or related field (Masters a plus)

  • 2-5 years experience

  • Proficient in Excel using formulas and other functions.

  • Excellent time management skills

  • Able to work independently/remote when required

  • Ability to take complex dataset and derieve next steps/action for issue resolution

  • Proven ability to contirbute in a collaborative environment

  • Use of data analytics for issue resolution

  • Lead discussions and provide insight for possible solutions to problems with assocaited Business Unit

  • Experience with customer interfacing related to tracking and reporting trends resulting for data analysis

  • Experieince in delivering effective presentations

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Fujitsu salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. ​ It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each situation. The pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to: specific skills, qualifications, experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. The pay range for this position is estimated at $69,357.40 to $99,082.00 USD. Additionally, this role may be eligible for a short-term incentive based on company results and individual performance.
