Job Title: Repair Technician

Job Description

The Repair Technician will be responsible for the electronic troubleshooting and repair of multi-layer PC boards used for electronic pump/current regulators. This role requires the use of various test equipment to perform component-level troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair multi-layer PC boards to the component level.

  • Use test equipment including DVMs, calibrators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, analyzers, frequency counters, and phase meters.

  • Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative actions.

  • Read and comprehend electronic schematic diagrams and test procedures.

  • Handle and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted.

  • Provide excellent customer service.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment to the component level.

  • AAS degree or equivalent in electronics technology.

  • Proficiency with test equipment: DVMs, calibrators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, power analyzers, frequency counters, phase meters, and computer-based test programs.

  • Experience with both digital and analog circuitry.

  • Fluent in English.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of metrology operations.

  • US Citizenship required for access to government facilities when needed.

Work Environment

You will work in a clean, climate-controlled environment with a multicultural team of six other Repair Technicians and a lead. The team-oriented atmosphere requires the use of ESD protective equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.
