Job Summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join its national M&A / ESG Due Diligence practice in Dallas, TX. This individual will serve a key function in fueling the continued growth of Langan’s M&A / ESG Due Diligence practice and will consult with clients in all sectors and geographies. In this role, you will have the opportunity to join and lead a dynamic group performing high-level consulting for legal, industrial, and financial sector clients on some of the industry’s most complex and exciting projects.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive business development for Langan’s ESG M&A practice through the identification and integration of new projects and clients, while expanding relationships and service offerings with existing clientele;

  • Serve as a leader, mentor and technical advisor to a high-performing team of ESG M&A professionals;

  • Conduct EHS and ESG Due Diligence and deal support for a variety of legal, financial, and industrial clients;

  • Assist clients with post-merger integration and compliance;

  • Assist in recruiting M&A and ESG Talent; and

  • Performs other duties as requested.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field;

  • 15+ years of relevant experience, ideally as an ESG M&A consultant;

  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements;

  • Knowledge of quantitative/technical analyses and related software;

  • Strong attention to detail;

  • Strong customer service skills and responsiveness to client needs;

  • Ability to multi-task effectively;

  • Excellent analytical and judgment capabilities;

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to develop and motivate a high-performance team;

  • Ability to develop and manage project budgets;

  • Effectively manage multiple clients and projects;

  • Ability to effectively expand client relationships while generating new relationships, projects and revenue through business development;

  • Ability to travel to jobsites and/or client locations; and

  • Reliable transportation to access remote job sites and a valid driver’s license in good standing.
