Robert Half Senior Software Engineer in Dallas, Texas
Description The Senior Software Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and security of our ATM network. This position requires a strong understanding of ATM software, hardware, and network systems, as well as a deep knowledge of the Vynamic View and Vynamic Security Suite. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in installing, configuring, and maintaining ATM systems, and be able to collaborate effectively with both internal and external teams.
Responsibilities
ATM System Management: Install, configure, upgrade, and enhance ATM software, hardware, and network systems.
Security Updates: Manage ATM security updates to protect against vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Product Support: Provide technical support and maintenance for ATM products, addressing issues and optimizing performance.
Process Development: Develop and implement compliant processes for ATM software, ensuring adherence to corporate policies and industry best practices.
ATM Lifecycle: Contribute to the ATM lifecycle process, supporting new feature development and product enhancements.
Deployment Packages: Create and maintain unattended deployment packages for efficient system updates.
System Integration: Integrate ATM applications with all software and hardware components.
Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors, providing training and managing relationships.
Technical Consultancy: Offer expert advice on business process improvements and enhancements to ancillary systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of progressive software or systems engineering experience, with at least 3 years of experience with ATM multi-vendor software.
Proven experience working with ATMs or in electronic banking.
Strong proficiency with Vynamic View and Vynamic Security Suite is essential.
Knowledge and experience with programming languages and web application technologies (e.g., Java, SQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
Experience with ATM Communication Protocols (e.g., NDC, DDC) and TCP/IP.
Understanding of ISO8583 transaction processing protocol.
Experience with RKL and EPP integration.
