AT&T Senior Sourcing Management in Dallas, Texas

Manages contract negotiations and administers contracts, systems, procedures and methods, including executing standard contract templates with standard AT&T terms and conditions with moderately complex negotiations.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Negotiates contracts on behalf of internal AT&T clients for purchases of goods and services.

Responsible for implementing an assigned sourcing strategy in procurement events.

Provides interpretation of terms and conditions of contractual obligations.

Negotiations frequently include contract modifications, requests for proposals (RFPs), pricing, revisions, terms and conditions with vendors.

Responsible for the review and administration of long-term and/or blanket purchase contracts.

Responsible for contract issues, negotiations and/or administration of licensing agreements including renewal, new business, invoicing, credit holds, receivable issues and consolidations.

Typical responsibilities include:

Driving negotiations and employing leverage points to arrive at negotiation objectives.

Administers contracts in accordance with company and customer policies and procedures, provide interpretation and analysis of contract documents and reviews and evaluates customer requests for changes in or revisions of contracts that involve technical specifications, cost, or schedule impact on the company and requires coordination with key stakeholders including Legal and applicable Business Units.

Drives required approvals based on the document being negotiated (e.g. legal, client, funding).

Prepares and executes statements of work.

Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices, which may include regulatory considerations and company policies and procedures.

Resolves a wide range of sourcing issues and applies this knowledge appropriately when evaluating new information technologies to meet AT&Ts requirements.

May be required to recommend strategic network architecture planning and network evolution policy decisions in support of corporate initiatives, customer demand, technology changes, economic and service reliability criteria.

Education: Preferred Bachelors degree.

Experience: Typically 3 to 5 years relevant experience.

Supervisory: No.

Environmental Requirements: This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&Ts compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.

Our Senior Sourcing Managers earn between $87,200 - $130,800 of TSR. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
