About the Role:
The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer with expertise in software development and Cloud technologies. Here is your opportunity to work on a product with a huge role in this organization’s charter. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in front-end development, with a focus on building scalable, responsive user interfaces and deploying on Cloud platform. You will be reporting to a Technology Solutions manager and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and reliable software applications.
You Will:
Design and develops secured software applications of moderate complexity.
Highly skilled in refactoring, improves code base continually.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Implement and maintain continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline for automated deployment.
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to team members
Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth operation of applications
Assist with project planning by thoroughly identifying the tasks required for project deliverables.
Has experience working in a team using Agile methodology.
You Have:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information's systems, or a related field.
7+ years proficiency in developing front-end applications using Angular.
Minimum 7 years experience in Java and J2EE programming , developing webservices.
Experience with Spring Framework stack, MVC, UI frameworks
Experience working with cloud services (AWS)
Strong understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Strong understanding of cloud architecture and best practices
Knowledge of version control systems.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and serverless computing

Notes:
This position may be filled at various levels based on candidate's qualifications as determined by the department.
This role allows for the employee to work in a hybrid manner with some work conducted onsite at the Federal Reserve work location and some work conducted remotely. For this specific role, 2-3 days per week of work can be conducted remotely. Specific schedule details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
