We are offering an opportunity for a Senior Accountant in the Real Estate & Property industry based in Dallas, Texas. The role entails overseeing account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliations, and general ledger tasks. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity and requires an individual who possesses skills in Property Accounting, Microsoft Excel, Yardi Software, and Yardi Voyager. 100% ONSITE in downtown Dallas.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct account reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance

• Perform balance sheet reconciliation to verify account balances match with actual cash and equivalents

• Execute bank reconciliations to confirm all transactions align with bank statements

• Maintain and manage the general ledger to ensure accuracy of all entries

• Create and post journal entries to record financial transactions

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting

• Perform month-end close procedures for accurate and timely financial reporting

• Operate Yardi Software and Yardi Voyager for property accounting tasks

• Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to property accounting.

Requirements • Candidate must have at least 5 years of experience in a Senior Accountant role.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations is required.

• In-depth knowledge of General Ledger and Journal Entries is essential.

• Candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in Month End Close processes is mandatory.

• Familiarity with Yardi Software and Yardi Voyager is preferred.

• Previous experience in Property Accounting in the Real Estate & Property industry is vital.

• Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills are required.

• Candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

• Professional accounting certification, such as CPA or CMA, is preferred.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must adhere to strict confidentiality and data privacy standards.

• Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
