ENTRUST Solutions Group Telecommunications Planner I (Walk Out) in Dallas, Texas
Description
We’re looking for someone who can track jobs according to company procedures and read and understand various telecommunication schematics and designs. You’ll need to apply fiber and coaxial design specifications and create or review proposed design considerations for feasibility, future growth, and serviceability.
You’ll be familiar with permits (pole, railroad, TX Dot), easements, and rights of way for service routes. Identifying and verifying existing overhead and underground utilities will be part of your daily tasks. You’ll consider all contributing factors when completing service routes and applicable make-readies. Interacting with clients, utilities, municipalities, and residential and commercial customers is key. You’ll accurately track time spent on jobs, mileage, and materials needed to perform your duties. Completing SOW packages according to client-specific standards, procedures, and requirements will be essential. Safety is a priority, so you’ll follow general safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE. This is a hybrid role, with 60% of your time spent in the field and 40% working remotely.

Required Qualifications:
3 or more years’ experience working for a telecommunication, utility, construction, engineering or electrical background company is considered as a plus
Related certifications, and previous OSP and/or telecom design experience a plus
Valid Driver License and reliable transportation
