Job Description:

The position is responsible for participating in a variety of duties related to testing services in the Testing Center. These responsibilities include assisting with the daily test administration duties, interacting directly with staff members and student workers, and providing services to everyone who uses the testing center including all UTD community and the public. This is accomplished by ensuring all test-taking requirements are met in the Testing Center.

Minimum Qualifications:

Two years of college and two years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in a testing center and prior supervisory experience.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year of related work experience in a testing center environment.

  • Knowledge of the Higher Education system.

  • Demonstrate ability to interpret policies and procedures and uphold confidential information with discretion and in alignment with the Family Education Rights & Privacy Act ( FERPA ) regulations.

  • Attention to detail, organizational and interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy; demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for, a diverse population.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills (including proofreading, spelling, grammar, and punctuation).

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet-based applications and Outlook.
