Naval Sea Systems Command PROGRAM ANALYST in Dam Neck Naval Facility, Virginia

Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE PROGRAM OFFICE (PMS 340) of PEO UNMANNED AND SMALL COMBATANTS. Responsibilities You will execute program plans to achieve milestones and requirements for the full scope of activities associated with acquisition issues. You will analyze project operations to identify discrepancies and issues impacting project completion (e.g., budget, schedules, tasks). You will provide long range plans for the cost, performance, schedule of diverse teams and acquisition efforts within the scope of assigned areas. You will analyze requirements to develop program reporting including the specifications, data gathering and analytical techniques, and evaluation methodology. You will lead studies, surveys, reviews, and/or research projects to evaluate program accomplishments, effectiveness, and/or compliance with meeting specific goals, objectives, rules, and regulations. You will develop planning documents (e.g., Simplified Acquisition Management Plan (SAMP), Acquisition Program Baseline (APB), resource requirements, and contract documents throughout the system lifecycle. You will establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate projects concerning the development, installation, integration, and testing, relative to the acquisition process. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 pay band (or GS-11 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector evaluating program requirements to support the acquisition and life cycle (e.g., development, installation, integration, or testing and evaluation) of weapon systems or related components.
