Hilton In Room Dining Manager - Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort and Club in Dana Point, California

The award-winning AAA 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is looking for a In Room Dining Manager to join the Food & Beverage Team!

Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach, this town played an iconic role in the emergence of California's surf culture and today is celebrated for its laid-back vibe and fun, active lifestyle.

The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and Beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and IRD.

An In Room Dining Manager is responsible for managing in room dining operations to deliver an excellent guest experience while training staff, optimizing sales, and controlling costs.

Full-Time + Shift: Various – must have availability to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays.

What will I be doing?

As an In Room Dining Manager, you will be responsible for managing in room dining operations to deliver an excellent Guest experience. An In Room Dining Manager will also be required to manage, train, and develop team members and optimize sales and control costs. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Provide effective leadership to the In Room Dining team to ensure targets are met and exceeded both for the hotel and individual development
  • Ensure compliance of brand standards
  • Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Aware of trends and propose ideas to build the range and quality of Food and Beverage
  • Optimize sales and contain costs, identifying any areas for action
  • Set achievable budgets and other short- and long-term functional goals
  • Maintain consistent communication with Training and Development department to ensure teams at all levels are trained and developed through the use of structured training calendars
  • Maintain strong internal control environment and compliance to hotel/company policies and procedures

Salary Range: The annual salary range for this role is $75,000 to $90,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
