Description We are inviting applications for the role of an Accounting Manager in the insurance industry. Based in Danvers, Massachusetts, the role requires the candidate to work at our fully onsite office. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Usage of Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient management

• Regular auditing to ensure accuracy in financial transactions

• Conducting regular billing functions and maintaining Commercial Insurance

• Performing Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

• Supervisory management and oversight of the accounting team

• Ensuring timely Month End Close processes

• Conducting regular financial analysis to understand the financial health of the company

• Ensuring adherence to accounting regulations and company policies. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Knowledge and experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Familiarity with ERP Solutions

• Ability to manage Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Auditing skills

• Experience with Billing Functions

• Familiarity with Company-Paid Life Insurance

• Knowledge of Commercial Insurance

• Ability to perform Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Experience with Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation

• Supervisory management skills

• Experience with Supervisory Oversight

• Knowledge of Month End Close procedures

• Strong analytical skills and ability to perform Analysis
